Warzone Kill Race Strategy

In a Warzone Kill Race, the leaderboard is built from kills alone — placement does not score. That single rule change reshapes how you should play, from your drop spot to your late-game decisions.

Pick fight-dense drop spots

Because kills are everything, you want to land where you will see other teams quickly and often. High-traffic POIs give you early gunfights and the chance to snowball cash and loadouts. Avoid isolated drops that leave you under-looted and starved of eliminations.

Play aggressive, but together

Push as a squad. Trade kills, trade armour, and keep overlaps so a downed teammate gets revived. A team that fights together racks up kills far faster than four players scattered across a building.

Stay in the action

In a standard Battle Royale tournament, rotating early and playing for placement is often correct. In a Kill Race, sitting in a corner waiting out the circle wastes time you could spend fighting. Keep moving toward gunfire, contest buy-backs and third-party fights that are already happening nearby.

Submit your proof

At the end of each match, photograph the full scoreboard showing your kills and placement. Even though placement does not score, the screenshot is mandatory proof for every submission. The more matches you play within the window, the more chances you have to stack kills.
