How to Enter a Warzone Tournament on DropZone: A Step-by-Step Guide
How to Enter a Warzone Tournament
Getting started on DropZone is straightforward. Here is the full path from sign-up to your first submitted result.
1. Create your account
Register for a free DropZone account and verify it. Once you are in, set up your player profile — add your username, platform (PC, PlayStation, Xbox) and Activision ID so other players can find and recognise you.
2. Build or join a team
Most tournaments require a team. Head to the Teams section to create a squad and invite your teammates, or join an existing team. Solo tournaments are the exception — you can enter those as an individual.
3. Find a tournament
Browse the tournaments page for upcoming events. Each card shows the format (solo, duo, trio, quad), the type (Battle Royale or Kill Race), the entry fee, the prize pool and the start time. Pick one that fits your squad and schedule.
4. Register and enter
Open the tournament lobby and select your team to enter. Free tournaments confirm instantly; paid tournaments unlock once your entry is complete. You can pay by card or from your DropZone wallet balance.
5. Play and submit proof
When the tournament goes live, play your matches within the time window. After each match, submit your result with a photograph of the in-game scoreboard. The leaderboard updates as scores are verified, and winnings are credited to your wallet after the event completes.
